Coronado, CA – Silver Strand Beach

Last week Audra and I decided to get away and head to the beach for a few days.  This was our first time staying at a state park, we usual stay at private own resorts. Silver Strand was $50 a day, for a total after fees $166.  Each site had water, power, but no sewage.  Water consumption was the biggest con, we try to save water every time we travel, yet not having the ability to dump without moving the trailer was a problem.  Adding an On/ Off Shower Head is a huge advantage while showering. Although in the future I will be looking into a Tote Tank so I can empty my grey tank and not move the trailer.

Gate entrance closes at 8 pm (No vehicle entrance into the park after that time)
Really close, tight fit for each spot
No dump on each site
No dogs on the beach, no real area for dog relief

Close walk to the beach
Easy access to under the street to the marina
Short drive, or Lyft ride into town or Coronado
Nice clean beach

Must haves:
No cable hook up, for TV you need an antenna or Satellite Dish
Tote Tank
Firepit, gets cold at night
Shower Head with On/Off Switch

Overall I do recommend this RV Park, and I will definitely be visiting again.
