At the age of 31 I found I need to be a little more active and burn off the pizza and beer. The goal is to run about 30 miles a month, first 3 months I fell short of the goal, so far in April I am right there. The most difficult part seems to be my work days and vacations, once this summer heat hits I may need to use the treadmill.
One huge motivator is my Nike Run Club app , with this I am able to follow my friends and see where they are at for the month. Right now I am ahead, if you were wondering.
As of April 28th, I have ran 23 miles this month, for a total of 64 miles on the year.
So everyone join me and get out and run!! 2 miles will take you at the most 20 minutes!!
